SOLACE

As I dissect the viscera of my past
And put down chronologically till the last
I wonder what wrong had I done
To be deprived of happiness and fun
I never missed an opportunity
That came my way for expressing sympathy
Then why was I at the receiving end
That too from someone more than a friend
As I sit back and analyze
I can very easily visualize
It must have been a “test” from the ONE ABOVE
To see whether I really trust HIM enough
And now having passed that test
