Trapped

Amanda Pearson 1986 (Texas)

Trapped inside these walls of torture and insanity...
I can’t get away; God please help me...
The horror, it’s like a nightmare…
The abuse, the screaming, the all night snare…
All the pain from the one I thought would be amazing…
At first I seen perfection, but ended awful and depressing…
I tried too hard to fix what was broken…
Nowhere to start with words left unspoken…
You played me hard, should have known when to leave…
Your words were all lies, didn’t know what to believe…
In the beginning we were unstoppable, nobody got in our way…
But suddenly it all changed, I don’t even know what to say…
Im so happy that its over, hope the distance is always far…
Im still putting pieces back together, please stay away, stay far…
I will never be the same, the wounds will always be there…
Hope you enjoy your life, honestly I don’t care…
My life is so much better without you, I feel so free…
Leave me alone, stay away from me…
I may be messed up, but I know where I stand…
Its all about me and the girls now, us girls walk hand in hand…
