He was there;
a moment ago, a decade ago
he was right there ; solid, defined, unique,
passive, proactive, reactive,
sometimes strong, occasionally pathetic.
his life of deeds and dreams
real to him
to those who knew & loved him
those who were with him
when he was there
right there
a moment ago

About this poem

I find it really hard when someone dies to comprehend that a life in all it´s enormity simply is no more
