From the blue sky numerous boons flow to the earth
Earth is blessed with so many wonders of real worth
There are no hurdles and no conditions to have them all
But the inhabitants lose self-control and hence they fall
The Almighty bestows on us his shining jewels always
The Sun shines on us and the moon too sends its rays  
But the best of His gifts are that all the friends we have  
When everybody leaves us in the mess only they  stay

Except our friends  none likes to shed his pride for us
Only they  pat on our shoulders at the time of distress
They  do not sound critical and give us a smile to cheer
They never ask anything  in bargain to make the path clear

Such a gift is  like a jewel and is a ray of hope in the dark  
Thus He lightens our  soul with the genuine  friendly spark
