This Is The Time

This is the time to think of mornings,
of how they sink in the night's glory,
how they forget themselves
in the dark words of yesterday.
Everything else remains in memory.
Last night's sleep, yesterday's plans
to write until midnight. Everything,
all that was there, all that we  
couldn't foresee.
Sit beside me, make this morning
different, fully complete.
