American Spirit
Can you hear it
Hear it being sung in the night
People screaming we're ready to fight
It's what keeps us together when times are rough
Showing that terrorists aren't so tough
People getting stronger and stronger
Praying this won't be going on longer
Saying that America is here to stay
So terrorism better make way
Something that all Americans have to share
Something we're not afraid to bare
American Spirit
Terrorists should fear it

This is a poem I wrote shortly after 9/11/2001. In remembrance of all those killed on September 11, 2001.
