Lost At Sea, Kindness Was Her Name, The Wind is A Friend of mine

Lost at Sea

       A pointless existence
                  maybe
A drowning man yells
               “save me”
Save me from all the trouble of today
the forgotten sorrow of the past
and the thief that is tomorrow

  It steals in the night
  the souls of today
as time watches higher
 than the morning sky
    teary eyed water falls
 and cleanses the dirty thoughts
      of humankind

      For what can be given
can always be taken away

     A blink of an eye
is the difference
      between you and me

For the man who thought he could fly
is now forever lost at sea

Kindness Was Her Name

   if kindness could kill
would she part her devil tainted lips?

       would the killing be quick?
 or would her kiss linger,
like the remanence of her lipstick

would her dreams come true too soon?
only so that her rushed-crush
could taint both her spirit and her taste for women?

    Kindness plays tricks
             on whomever will listen

    Telling sweet lies
And blowing even sweeter kisses

She paints a picture of her life
   with fifty shades of red
each stroke made carefully
    with a needle
and pricked finger

She lets you see
   her raw beauty
and invites you to do the same

you fall for her slow smile
      and open heart

You wish you could hold back
      but her gaze is deadly

She breathes you in,
     so that likewise you are
instantly intoxicated by her kindness
   freely given to only you

      The Perfectly unplanned
           Rapidly unfolds

Till kindness leaves you with nothing
but a smile and a wave

Off to kill with nothing but the hauntings
       of my blood sketched painting

The Wind Is A Friend Of Mine

I lay here now
 naked and afraid

In a field of roses
  red like the sea

  red like my heart
            and my blood
             and my temper

red like my passion
for the love of one-another

The wind,
         Hears my cries
               when no-one else does

The sun,
     Kisses my cheek
after I have been beaten and bruised

The mountain’s shadow,
          Covers me up
and wraps me in his arms

As my blood starts to boil,
                 and I cry
                just a little

roses wrap my arms and legs
while the wind dries my tears

all the while,
the sun kisses my scars
and the mountains echo my cries

till the ocean ripples,
and the bees start buzzing
and the tide grows a thousand sizes, all because of one girl laying in a field of flowers whose heart was slowly breaking

The wind,
heard her cries

And told the mountains to watch over her

The sun,
felt her passion so she lit her face with hope

The water,
tasted her tears and roared with sympathy and ache

“Why can no-one see the beauty of a broken heart! The growth of which it takes to heal, and breathe! Why must she cry all alone,
with nothing but roses and buzzing bees?”
