Stale Voices

Give me my bread,
from your cold hands
and your vendetta
to understanding her
gets me drunk
with bloody wine

She's laid at the altar
you set fire to
her poor sinner's hand
"Fear not" you say,
"For I am with you".

You eat from the basket
she's given
and call her blood
his "blood of life".
