A Gentleman and his Top Hat

Monica Griffin 1955 (Latham)

sometimes I feel
Sometimes scents I smell
But for this I am not going to tell

Do not beg or ask me why
hurry if you're to catch up with me
I just went looking at the Deep Blue Sea

For all this matter and all that matters
Have answers for them all
When it's well done and its to be done

I reckon then I'll come to call

About this poem

I hope it will be found as whimsical as I did.
