Radiance

Looking at my image, I once thought,
why do I look of a trivial lot.

When cleansing helped not change any way,
I turned to the sun in sheer dismay.

How could I change my dark hue?
Where’s my brilliance, could you give a clue?

The sun spoke up in heavenly grace,
releasing its rays with broad burning face.

‘Born of the blaze, I am fire and glow,
who and what’s dark, I never know.

Jump in the flame and then look at you,
radiance, with burning, comes as a hue.’
