Just another One

I don’t want to be around
I don’t want to go outside
It’s difficult to say
Because I’ve been raised in false pride

I can’t share who I really am
I can’t show you the things I make
Because of the world, I live
I must conform therefore be fake

For all these things that I must hide
within myself, I must reside
The world outside it’s not for me
But it’s me who won’t let me be

About this poem

I wrote this poem in 2022, just a few days ago. It deals with my diagnosis of bipolar disorder.
