Be As Threads Of Gold

Zack Slaughter 1953 (Oxford, NC)

May your and my actions and deeds be as'threads of gold' weaved into others garments and apparel -

Such to be tightly and close knitted together alike to priestly robes and attire before the Lord and our God.

Quite to stitch and sew it even into our speech and conversation with folk and people everywhere we go and trod;

Indeed - s threads that lengthen into eternity to glorify our Father in heaven such begin upon each day's arrival.

    Such an interesting poem, I must comment again !
    Remember the phrase, hanging on by a thread ?
    In our lifetime, we will have many moments of hanging on !
    But if you have a golden thread, God will see us through for another day !

    Thankyou for your very meaningful poem about our lives with stitches of gold !
    Life is not on automatic, life is hand made, crafting our lives with God's material is the real winner !
    Life is fragile
    Handle with prayer..
