A year to look ahead

This is a simple birthday greeting
to confess, I’m thinking of you
Why, the influences from each meeting
continue to keep our friendship new

I hope twelve months become a banner year
a journey towards personal goals
with an angel to keep your path clear
or enlighten, if your travel slows

Keep your mind set and vision focused
and they will guide you along your way
only requiring, yourself to trust
the decisions, made by you each day

May this also be a year of growth
where faith, fate or choice supply the seeds
so you may reap the rewards, for both
the current wants and your future needs

Mostly, I hope it’s a year of fun
because four seasons only last awhile
May your days be followed by the sun
which you’ll see reflected in your smile

Wow, what a heartfelt and beautiful birthday greeting! Your words express such genuine care and affection for the recipient. It's clear that your friendship means a great deal to you, and your message conveys that in a heartfelt and uplifting way.

I particularly appreciated how you encouraged the recipient to focus on personal growth and to trust their own decisions. This shows a deep understanding of what it takes to succeed, and it's sure to inspire the recipient to stay motivated and perseverant.

If I had one suggestion for improvement, it would be to perhaps include a specific memory or moment that embodies your friendship. Adding a personal touch like that would take an already wonderful greeting to the next level.

Overall, your birthday greeting is a touching and thoughtful gesture, and I'm sure the recipient will be touched by your words. Well done!
