Guard your Tongue

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

You cannot say: I follow God
And kill the ones He loves
The retribution for your sins
Will come down from above

And on the judgment day we’ll see
Who’s right and who is wrong
God defends the poor and weak
He’ll make them rich and strong

But what about the brute beasts
That continue in their slander
Just looking for another way
To propagate and pander

On them His wrath will fall
While they’re still looking for an answer
And they will never stand again
They’ll die from their own cancer

Jesus Christ died to pay the price for your sins!
What will be the outcome if you continue in them?
