"Why do we fail?"- Poet CJ

We face trials and tribulations
The most enticing temptations

Not knowing the taste of victory
Makes you chase that taste vindictively

Pushing the envelope as far as it'll go
Watering your plants
Then watching them grow

Marking down the game plan
Yet I can't get it through my brain man

Why do we fail
Through the fight that's seen
To those that miss that eye
It can never be said that we didn't try

A strategy built by even the greatest tactician
Wouldn't be able to tell me how to bypass this mission

The desperation causes pain through the ripple
Yet this situation is nowhere near that simple

It as this point that we make a decision to succeed
Without the guidance of being taken under another's wing
