The Day You Left Us

The day you left us, I asked God why.
The sad part is, I didn't have the chance to say Goodbye.
You were Mommy and Daddy's little girl.
You will be greatly missed in this world.
I do not know why God took you away.
There is so much that I had to say.
I could only imagine what kind of place you are in.
I will miss the way you smiled and would grin.
I remember your hair and the sparkle in your eyes.
The sparkle is like the gleaming of the stars in the skies.
As I look back on the times we had,
I know you wouldn't want us to be sad.
There is so much that Daddy and I had to share with you.
We are having a hard time believing that this is true.
I just want to hold you one more time.
My precious little girl of mine.
