Oh Yea

On peering out and through the glass
To spy my target, in view at last

I ready my mind, and steel my nerves
For destruction that must soon be served

When did I enter this eternal loop?
My insides sloshing 'round like soup

Poised and ready at a moment's notice
I can't think now, but only focus

A force that I must soon abide
Which bursts on thru the other side

And why should I be thought so sweet?
When barreling on naive meat

One deep breath, one let out slow
A thunderous sound, to now echo

Oh yeaaaaa! I cry across the lands
For I, am just, the 'Kool-Aid' man.

MAN. I'm going through old contest entries, combing through them to see if I can learn something new and I run into this gem. What a funny and excellent piece of poetry. Completely had me in the first half, had to re-read it for all the clues until the reveal in the end. I love this.

I sincerely hope you come back to competing again in the monthly contests.
