Mother Earth

The stars blaze in her eyes
As I whisper sweet disguise
The waters run fast
As the seasons come and pass
The trees the leaves spoke to us
Revealing the pain of time
Her cycle of life is closing
As darkness covers the sky
Will she give us the chance
To enjoy her time again
Or will her beauty be a memory
For future souls to hold
How much do we love her
With all her secretes untold
Her tears begin to fall
Only to remind us
The pain she bears for us all
