The Universe in Peace

Above all else, there is indeed in life
Nothing more precious or sacred than a
Godly heart reaching out to the world
Extending to every human soul, embracing it with
Love, brotherhood, fellowship
And peace; reaching out to make a human heart

Rejoice and be thankful
Of the ever-bounteous mercies
Shared in communal faith and fellowship
And renewed by trust and honor;
Reaching out with forthright strength, but
In humility and with tenderness, staying ever the
Oppressive hand of hatred, jealousy, defeat, fear.

Building thus by every positive action
A lasting fortress where is lodged with
Zeal, with courage, and with tender care the
Love of human race — of man, woman, child.
Earthly folk who celebrate the cosmic dance of
Yin and Yang — the universe in peace with self.
