A Village Girl

That little girl of a village
Who grew greeting the neighbors?
No rages or harsh words heard
Get into a city crossed the ocean
Who would have taught that?

Dressed up dress of equality
Waved her hands high
As a sign of good-bye to the village
In search of liberating herself from
Unwanted cultural life style, such as:
Early marriage and remain illiterate

Mothers are busy with weaving
Clothes for self and for the market
Well, a lot to share from her life journey
Never accepted aristocrat treatment
Her wish to hear a song of democracy
Including at a village

About this poem

Life in a village is hard, and not exposed to modern life. This expression is an encouragement, and there is hope if they try hard to get out of the hole.
