You talk in your sleep

In your sleep

You talk in your sleep
What do I say?
It's of things
That you keep
Where you know
They will stay
Sometimes you whisper
Or call out her name
A time that you kissed her
When one and the same
 Directions to a place
That doesn't exist
A picture of a face
You can't resist
Tossing and turning
All night long
Or gently sleeping
As if to a song
What did she do
To make you this way
To make you feel blue
And drift far away
She stopped my heart
And holds the key
So I drift on a ship
On an endless sea
