You Still Are

Everything you've done,
Everything you've said,
Everything and everyone you believed in,
Everything you were,
You still are.

The mother,
The grandmother,
The great grandmother,
And soon the great great grandmother,
You still are.

A volunteer,
A Liberty Award winner,
A lover of children,
A lover of life,
You still are.

You made everyone want to grow up to be you,
You inspired so many young and old minds alike,
You lived a full and prosperous life,
You showed love and hope to everyone,
You still are.

You still are in our hearts,
You still are in our minds,
You still are in our souls,
You still are in our prayers,
You still are...

Mom, Nanny, Bubby, and soon Safta
