Might be my demise

Maa, is it too tight?
she said,”no it is absolutely fine
But why do I see a glimpse of fear in your eyes”
No everything’s alright
But there’s still a trepidation in my mind
It doesn’t matter to the world
Whether its 10 in the morning or
10 at the night.
Stepping out of the door doesn’t feel right!
whether I wear shorts with my favourite top
Or cover my skin uptight
the next turn might be my demise,
Unless I survive the ruthless crime.
It’s not about “all the men” or “all the women” this time
it’s:
While I’m walking with my head down low
Through the crowd
Who comes to the front
And becomes the predator of my life.
A name to be given to them is not precise
They don’t belong to the human kind
They are even beyond the cannibals
Of this sphere of lives.
More than myself I’m petrified
For your right
You might never see me again
While I’m left on some ground
Rotting
Crying for my mortal felicitous life.
