A Gift From God

I used to wonder if I'd know
The joys of love would touch my soul
Then I met you my heart did soar
Like nothing, I'd ever felt before
You touched me places I never knew
And now no-one is able to
You were My heart and soul combined
When I lost you I thought I'd lose my mind
Although our love was so very brief
I'll still hang on to my belief
I thank you God for this gift Devine
And my chance to feel this moment in time
I love you
