Bullied

My pulse it races, my mouth is dry,
They’re all so cruel, I don’t know why,
I walk in, they all shut up,
They hide my work and set me up,
At dinner time I get my tray,
I dare to speak, they walk away,
And every table I go to,
They say “this chair is not for you”
The snide remarks, the laughs, the jeers,
The teacher says “make groups with peers”
But no one wants me on there team,
The teacher shouts “wake up, don’t dream,
Find a group, don’t take so long”,
And so the day drags on and on,
At three o’clock the bell rings out,
I wait till nobody’s about,
Then head for home, heart filled with sorrow,
Cause it all starts up again tomorrow.
