flower of flame

a million hurtful words, fighting to come out
yet what I chose was silence

we don't deserve that verbal violence.

at least not from me

you spout off in heat
"insufferable", "stooped so low".                  defeat.

"you're single now?"
oh boy what a leap

you're a fire a snowball, come tumbling down
nothing will stop you, dare to try it you clown

am i talking to walls, am i speaking in space,
how did we not see this when face to face

from a distance it shows
your petulant pose
how could you flip like that? who knows

from past misfortune distrust and your lust
you're a shaky a fiery a beauty disgust

as i type you still gripe, do i give in and reply with your spite and this smite

if i let the time pass you won't come around,
no
that is not you
my once loved

About this poem
