Abigail Claribell Marigold Mars
Abigail Claribell Marigold Mars
Had her feet on the ground
And her head in the stars
She sat on the rooftop
Gazed up at the moon
Be it September, December, or June
She sat there in rain, in snow, and in sleet
She sat there with summer air warm on her feet She looked at that velvet infinity
And wondered if a girl just like she
Gazed at the sky from a rooftop perch
With an unlikely name given at birth
of Abigail Claribell Marigold Earth.
