A Few Moments Ago...

As Maya gently ushered
to a lair of dainty dreams
I wake up into yesterday
verity tearing at seams

Sentient emotions perched
on many a familiar face
but within my inner milieu
now floated a quaint grace

A divine desire echoed
in all this karmic strife
ambitions, there were none left
except once, to really live life
