God where are you?

Jessica Millitello 1988 (United States)

God, where are you?
I'm looking, my eyes are wide open.
My heart and mind are seeking,
Everything in me is searching.

God, I need you now,
I need some hope, some sign.
God, please don't leave me alone,
Why are you so hard to find?

God please don't forsake me,
I am a sinner through and through.
I know I have not always been good,
But I have always loved you.

God, I am doing my best now.
I have learned my lesson from you,
But why have you left me now?
At this time I don't know how to get through?

God, I am so broken and scared,
I need you to love me again.
God please come back to me,
I really need you to be my friend.

God, why must I feel this pain,
Why has my life been so ruined?
Where do I go from here,
And why should i care again?

God, I want to die,
I want this pain to end.
I don't want to go on like this,
God, you promised to be my friend.

God, you have left me alone so long,
Now I am hopeless and broken.
God, I am done trying to find you,
It is time for me to find my end.
