Budding Love

Love walked alone.
The rocks cut her tender feet.
And the brambles tore her fair limbs.
There came a companion to her.
For he was love too.
Together they blossomed.
Their thorns cut the rocks.
Their limbs no longer fair.
Tearing the brambles.
They tangled together.
And flourished.
And never stopped growing.
