You can not break me.
I am not under your control
I am free and I am strong
And I know where I belong.
You do not have the power,
You do not have the strength
To make me feel weak
To make me break
The road has been long
Without support I travel
Nothing that you say to me
Can make me unravel.
Broken bones heal
Broken spirit overcomes
Broken hearts are unbroken
I’ve undone what you’ve done.
Hit me with your hands
Bite me with your words
I wont be kept down
I survived and I’ve been heard.
Powering through every obstacle in my path
I overcome the pain
I’ve overcome your wrath
You cannot break me I rise again
About this poem
I have been through so much in my life and at times thought I could not face any more challenges but I still stand tall
