Revolutional Evolution

Nightmarish symptoms adorn,
My fictioned dreams of fairytales to wish.
In a season amidst,
With the sharing of good tidings...
And the exchanging of gifts.
Turning to toss my vision upside down.
Close and nearing,
My awakened thoughts to cross.
The threshold of a shut door.
What is this? What is it?

Approaching me I begin to feel,
A revolutional evolution.
Neither invited nor appeals.

Dread I do as I lay still.
This vision unwanted yet so real.
A time warned to come?
Could it leave me so stunned?
Shaking me awake from a stubbornness.
All around me there are changes.
Making useless my common sense.
Or any intelligence to prevent,
The signs of the times.
I believed not mine to experience.

Unafraid but cautious.
I get up and rush to my window to see.
And there it was as clear as can be.
A new day dawning.
Upon another place.
I had never seen before.
Done to adventure to explore.
But I knew I was not alone.
To have ignored,
This beginning to end a normalcy!
I had been told would come.
And...
I wondered how this difference,
Would be accepted or rejected...
By all humanity!
What then would become,
Of useless conflicts...
Division and the meaning of diversity!
Since gone is an image,
To protect, define...
Or pretentiously kept defended!
