Black Card Revoked
Black Card Revoked
I hope this doesn’t get my black card revoked
But I’m not an activist
I don’t usually speak on issues of black empowerment
I don’t really berate the police
Unless they are wrong
It is Then I begin to interpret the law
In search of facts
I hope I don’t lose my black card for that
I have faith in God whatever form that the religious people want to ascribe the celestial being
And for some I lost my black card for that
But wait there’s more
When I pray or meditate it sometimes comes out feeling soliloquous
So am I the God, Allah or Buddha that my soul goes to for answers
I hope not but I know I may have lost the black card for that
Can I rap no
Do I rock the designer labels or a different pair of sneaks on a daily basis
Nope I don’t even own a suit..not yet
But should I lose my black card for that
I don’t smoke purp any more and haven’t popped a perc in years unless I was truly in pain
I can’t even say I overindulge in liquor either
Let me guess I lost my black card for that for sho
Oops I mean for sure
See that black almost seeped out
I guess I have to speak with improper vernacular
Maybe that’ll keep my black card from getting revoked
So are you telling me that I need to let the AK spray
The 45 ring
Punch a nigga in his face
Would that “put on” for the race
Keepin my black card in place
No cap all facts
Would that be the only way I can keep my black card Black
Black I may be but it is not all that I am
So come on lay up off of me fam
