My friends ghost

I found you by mistake a passion in the flames,
You chased me thru the wind and played all the games,
You were a force to be reckoned with over time our love did grow...
Never did i realize that id ever have to let you go..
Your blood pulsed in my veins like hot coals to a fire.
I never knew the strength of this connection...never thought that id tire
So beautiful like an angel but devils lived inside
Who did this to you my heart to cause such great divide
I sought you out for centuries and always wanted you close
One day its like a dream the next im holding onto a ghost
I wish that i could give you back those things that were took from you
I wish i was the repair and my love was the glue
Id help you find yourself again..the one that i fell so hard for
To trust to teach to love again the one i never let down my guard for
My heart you protected with a ferosity i had never known...i finally found the missing piece my soul my home
Come back to me sweet boy show me who you really were before they tore you into and left you with nothing but scars
I call out to you but you cannot hear me youcan see the tears in my eyes that say please dont leave here
Cause our love is destined our time is close i want to be holding onto you not onto my friends ghost
