No One To Blame

JUDITH MEADE 1962 (iNDIANAPOLIS)

Angels that are flying close to the ground, are tempted by Satan they are looking around
Satan laughs and laughs with delight, he knows he will catch a couple tonight.
He will draw them in like bees are to honey, it is so easy its' not funny
They will flock to him like a moth to a flame, he knows it well, Satan knows the game.
Satan lures the Angels down to the pit, the Angels will have a perfect place to sit.
They look around and see Angels in swings, hung by skulls and many evil things.
A wave of his hand and a circle of fire begins, how stupid they are , they shouldn't of gave in .
These angels sit in a ring of fire with their wings tied up with the devil's wire.
Their beautiful wings that was once pure white are now gray with ash from the fire so bright.
The Angels heads are bowed low with shame, knowing that they have no one to blame.
