Solitude

Gonxalo Corona 1955 (Mexico)

SOLITUDE"

IN THE SOLITUDE, HERE I AM,
LISTENING TO THE CHOIRS OF THE WIND.
"IT SINGS SO SOFTLY; WITH A RHYTHM....
THAT ENCHANTS THE EARS OF THE TREES
AS WELL AS MINE"
SUDDENLY, THE ECHOES OF YOUR MEMORIES
DISTURB MY PEACE, SO ABRUPTLY,
AWAKENING PROFOUND FEELINGS,
AND EVEN, THE DREAMS OF THE BIRDS.
THEN MY SOLITUDE FLIES AWAY,
ON THEIR WINGS.
