As a child

As a child...
We were made of heart that palpitated,
mind that kept our thought latent.
A heart that throbbed for love and endearment,
Mind that produced ideas and created sentiments.

Far from blood and sweat
More than bones and joints
The heart became a merry machine to pump
mind that turned to be a selfish lump!

A glass than broke more than it beats
A sack of blood with more vain than RBC's
The most useful organ but never used
Hard it is to crack, inside the skull glued

As a child...
They told us what was being materialistic and hypocrisy
And about the good deeds that lead us to heaven
But when they started its bureaucracy
I saw them burning in hell, trying to defend!
