My prayer for peace and kindness

When I look at this world I see sadness
when I look at this world I see anger
when I look at this world I see lonely-ness
when I look at the world I see hatred

I just wish everyone would accept one another
with love and respect people for who they are
by accepting them for who they are inside and out
please don't judge people by color or size

let us learn to be patient and kind
so I pray to the lord that we become strong
let us overcome the fear in our hearts
so that we can overcome any fear that's here

We need to respect our elderly and parents
because one day they won't be here no more
they shall pass one day as well too
we need to love and cherish them while there here

I was once told by a wonderful women
who isn't here with us anymore today
she went up to heaven before my birthday
she taught me kindness, honesty, love and joy.
