JO Davies County

Julio 1981 (Chicago)

Jo Davies County

Lonely roads, corn abound
Stop for a moment to listen
Listen to the wind blowing in the fields
Fields of yellow glowing in the sun

Listen to my thoughts
Blowing through my mind
Where do i go, what do i do, what should i say?
Am I ready, or just afraid of change?

Strolling through Beloit
Walking along stores, searching
for Spotted Cows
Where do i go, what do i do, what should i say?
Am I ready, or just afraid of change?

Back on the road through Dakota
Passing by cows, silos, empty fields
Where do I go, what do i do, what should I say?
Am I ready, or just afraid of change?

Lonely roads, yellow oorn abound
Stop for a moment to listen on 78
Empty intersection, breeze coming through window
Reflecting on where I go and say?
Is it worth the trouble to achieve nothing?
