Storm

Brandy S Wells 1977 (Pocahontas Arkansas)

Your not sure how you made through and managed to survive. Is the storm truly over each day passes and you learn the inside life. You may even believe that you have made some friends but that’s over when the bars locked again. One thing is certain as it’s always been. When you finally walk back out. You will not be the same person who walked in.Hopefully one storm will be enough unfortunately most will return to ride the storm once again.

Brandy S Wells

My writing covers many different categories I’m a mother of 3, grandmother of 4 My journey throughout my life has been such a challenge. However, it's made me who I am today. I'm just an ordinary country girl at heart. I've been blessed with an amazing family. Lord have I made some really bad decisions. I'm a survivor of domestic and substance abuse. Drinker and a dealer, lover, and cheater. Yet that's not the worst part unfortunately my children were the ones who suffered the worst from those bad choices. The man upstairs has blessed me with the greatest mother/dad in the world to protect them from harm held them when they cried thinking when will my momma come back home. As each night came the bars are locked tears rolling down my face While back at home my mother takes my place. Each time I was home with my kids. Sadly I didn't listen. Lost my kids my world my life. Years went by I went back to the old life. I woke up one day with casts on both arms from shoulders to my fingers had no memory of anything, screaming at God " what happened to me" I'll probably never know. Amazingly GOD has a purpose for us all. I hope by sharing my stories that maybe it can save others. We all deserve the best. God loves us all. more…
