At the beginning

Pin Lim 1982 (Montreal)

At the beginning

Going to need time for as long as it takes to get over you
Never thought the love we had would end with my heart broken in two
Days seems longer like my universe had suddenly came to a stop
Felt like someone wanted me to crash after seeing me at the top

What you did to me I thought you were really the one
Can't shake the feeling of loneliness and the person I've become
Going to take some time for the heart to beat to the new you
Someone similar yet in some way from different point of view

To be asking you at this time while saying our goodbyes
Was I the reason for I haven't got a clue so please tell me why
Still in a state of denial & disbelief about the thought of letting you go
Someday when my scars are healed up something unexpected might show

Gave you everything I've had to give before the rise and fall
Now my world seems like en empty place everything feels so small
Lost to my insanity to once thought to be strong now into broken shells
For forever again to begin I must free myself since I'm still under your spell
