Jesus Is Waiting

The clouds opened wide,
    And I saw,
All the stripes in your side,
I can't believe you bared it all.
We pray,
But is that enough,
What you done that day,
It had to be tough.
Still not close to what you went through,
I can't imagine the strength you must have,
I'm sad that my sins fell on you,
    How very ashamed I am.
You loved us that's who you are,
Though I'm not sure why,
You carried us, no matter how far,
I know you are still alive.
    As I hit my knees,
    And bow my head ,
    I ask for forgiveness, please,
You say that's why you bled.
I love you more and more,
Because of what you did for me,
I now know what I'm fighting for,
A salvation i can 't wait to see.
    There's a peace,
    You have given me,
All you ask is that I ask please,
And that my love you may see.
