Wreckage
Aayan Hussain 2008 (assam)
The stars shined with brights
The owl was peeking right
When I saw a swifty wind
When I was reclined
The only thought that came in my mind
Was the wreckage of human kind
Natures beauty was what I saw
How could I find in nature
A pretty single flaw
Humans didn't saw what was given
But saw the misplaced
How could one find peace
In such a wreckage
The fir tree stood high and black
When I played in it's sweet shade
Oh! no what happened to the tree
The humans burnt it to ash
O, what can I say
What we humans do
How can we thrive in such a place
where there is no bird in my roof
Now the stars have vanished
The owl is dead
And the swifty wind I saw
Is now just in my head
