A rose for rose

Ivann Deweare Lindor 1971 (port-au-prince)

A Rose for Rose
« Chosen by League of American Poets. USA »

People say that you are ugly
Some even see you like a bitch
No stared goal you can reach
Many bet that you’re silly.

Ugly! You’ll never be loved
Love and flowers aren’t for you
Bitch ! No one will respect you !
Like a t-shirt, you’ll be treated.

Come next to me, at my side,
I’ll help you carry on your fight !
Ugly or not, for me, you match.

No matter who you are, lady,
Believe that you’re smart.
You’re one of God’s great family !
