A Song of Love

Willia H Assad 1949 (Penn)

What song do I hear this cloudy day?
Off in a distance, she comes to me softly
With melody, I have only dreamed I may hear?
I can not see from where she has come
Her eyes are full of love, her skin so fair.

What song will I sing along with her?
While the distant rain comes all too near.
Thunder shouts out to me, "Run To Her Now"!
No matter her beginnings, no matter tomorrow
In Harmony, we now embrace, a Love so rare.
