What do you think about when you look at the sea?

What do you think about
when you look at the sea?
Because you don't think
the same way as me.

I think about things
when I look at the sea;
Things that have gone
and things yet to be.

When I watch you staring
out into the sea,
I can't figure out
what it is that you see.

Because your mind doesn't work
the way that mine does.
What are you thinking?
Do you think about love?

What do you think about
when you look at the sea?
Do you think about us?
Do you think about me?
