Outcomes
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
The best outcomes to expect,
Takes common sense to use.
And a pro-active consciousness.
With strategy and a blueprint.
Purposely designed,
To have specific exits if necessary.
A planning of an outcome done,
Is a serious commitment.
If one is expecting success to achieve it.
With a knowing,
What is needed when needed.
And paying attention to others to listen,
To what they may say to recommend.
Or even suggest to sound ridiculous.
Since...
What at first to hear sounding ridiculous,
May be that key needed to succeed.
Making an outcome better to accept,
Than other outcomes attempted.
Using the best advice given.
But failed to pass,
The Keep It Simple Test!
'I can not believe,
We hired all these scholars.
With claimed expertise.
And someone no one met,
On the maintenance crew...
Came in to suggest,
What was needed on a blueprint...
Had been which steps to take first,
To complete our mission.
That would achieve for us,
The best outcome!'
'And...
When he left,
You called him stupid!'
'You misunderstood how I said that.
I said...
Ooo.
HOW STUPID!'
'OH!
So...
That's why he left looking offended.
Throwing his broom on the floor.
And said something under his breath,
About you and your mother.
To do before,
You went to that door to open it.
Telling him to mind his own business.
Shut his mouth and get out!'
'Where on Earth...
Were you embellishers born?
People like you,
Can be depended upon...
To misinterpret and exaggerate,
What it is to see.
With a doing to add their own version.
He's gone.
The next time I see him,
I am going to make it my priority...
To apologize,
For that disgusting comment you made.
You should be ashamed of yourself.
I know I am...for you!
