Destiny

Otis Cotton 1983 (HARLEM NY)

If Loving you was My philosophy
I'd theorize for hours 101 million reasons why you should be on top of me
but it's more than in your moan
 it's in your skin tone
 your bone structure
it's as if God plucked you from the tree of Life
ordained you to be my wife
to navigate through this life of pain
strife  and misery
to know that everything will be all right your lips glisten with the sweat from your cheeks
your forehead damp
my arms around your hips as you sway
I love the way that we play when you lay down flat back bent arched
 yeah I'm loving that.
The chemistry allows us to be free
we enter into our own dimension
 our own Galaxy
I know that you were meant for me
the way that you moan every time I touch you and that special place
the way that you moan every time
 I look into your face
 the way that you own
every special crevice and special place
this is living
inside of you I am alive.
