A New Beginning

What I need is you, What I feel is true
Just dabbing here with no clue
I am not a chaser, or a clinger
Not a smooth talker nor a stalker
Your true friendship is what I need
With comfort n little attention indeed

Don’t want you to feel bound to me with ties
Want you to be a free bird that flies
Want u to be more close as can be
Verbally, Emotionally n Physically you see
Want to flee the realities of life with you
Sharing our joys n sadness too

Am bottled with mixed feelings n emotions
With the things you have set in motion
My crazy mind sits at unrest
Constantly needs to hit its reset
From thinking about how people judge
And assuming the worst so much

Your lusty eyes and naughty smile
Make me want to go the extra mile
Am just another guy that craves your touch
Shall always await on you to make that nudge
I just want to lay by your side
Cuddled up, naked, enjoying the ride

This is just the same old me here
Pondering about you out there
Scared, excited, nervous am I
Hoping this goes further than just something to try
A relationship that can stay undefined
A new beginning to which we both can grind

Mahesh Wadhwani

I always apologize for the length of my text as that’s the best way for me to communicate rather than verbally!! Not a man of many words but still manage to doodle when in mood to write, which is rare!! I am not even sure if what I scribble is poetry or even what form or just words that rhyme!! To me writing is an art, a sign of creativity and a means of expression. I don't really think that anyone can just write without any feelings, without having felt, without having lived, experienced or cherished. Whatever one writes, there is some amount of a persons own feelings and presence or of those around them, indicated in the works. So I am thankful to all the people in my life and those yet to come for having given me life, love, happiness and even pain. At-least I have had the opportunity to feel it , live it and express it, whatever it maybe. Cheers! more…
