A word to the Wise

The earth we once lived in
Was green and filled with tranquil
Not until calamities began therein
That wishes for us to be in peril.

Yet we know this is natural
Disasters like landslide and earthquake
Are happening recently in my local
Now, we should make a move for our sake.

What can you do with negligence?
If we want to survive from imminence
Without awareness, it won't make sense
We should face them with readiness.

How to confront those calamities?
Words aren't enough, we should practice
There are situations filled with abnormalities
Comply the following precautions, not in amiss.

Duck, cover and hold
Simple phrase we should remember
Earthquakes cannot be controlled
Hence, avoid your body getting altered.

Get away from steep slope
Landslides often occur in those areas
Planting trees and crops will be our hope
In this way, we should adapt with these ideas.

Amidst the situation, always be calm
Learn to walk unto the road with vigilance
As your life is already in your palm
This time, not everyone can have the ambulance.
